The Psychology service at Thistle Hill Hall is a consultant-led integrated service that enables our people to have access to psychological treatment and care onsite. The service focuses upon delivery of the psychological component of rehabilitation and recovery.
This service has four main components:
· Psychological Assessment of Mental Health, cognitive functioning, personality, autistic spectrum conditions, motivation, and emotional, social and interpersonal functioning;
· Case Formulation and MDT Care Planning. This informs the MDT which treatment and care actions are needed to facilitate change, growth and recovery towards greater independence;
· Psychological Treatment and MDT Case Review. There is a range of theoretical approaches available, informed by cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and compassion-focused therapy interventions;
· Staff Support through Reflective Practice and CPD
