Thistle Hill Hall provides a unique level of community-based care. A Consultant Psychiatrist overseen multidisciplinary team (MDT) is able to provide comprehensive, intensive, personalised care to individuals with mental illness and complex needs.
Our MDT comprises of a Psychiatrist, Chartered Forensic Psychologist , Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Technical Instructor and Rehabilitation staff.
The Thistle Hill Hall team has expertise in caring for individuals treated informally, under Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), those on a Community Treatment Order (CTO) or Guardianship Order.
Thistle Hill Hall has a proven track record of successfully supporting, enabling and empowering people discharged from hospital care at a significantly reduced cost compared to inpatient treatment.
Re-admission rates to acute inpatient services are extremely low. The majority of service users supported at Thistle Hill Hall move to less restrictive community accommodation after discharge from this rehabilitation service.
